Easter weekend

We had such a fun Easter weekend. It was packed with activities with the biggest being the annual Bereuter/Paxton egg hunt in Red Oak. So much effort is put into making tons of confetti eggs for all of the grandkids and great grandkids to search for. Once all of the eggs are found then it's time to break them open on whoever you wish. Olivia found a few confetti eggs and couldn't wait to break them open with her hands. Maybe next year she can break some open on Daddy or Grandpa. She really enjoyed Anna and Mia being there to show her the ropes. Anna gave her the confetti treatment.
One of the other fun activities at the egg hunt is listening and dancing to live music performed by different Bereuters, Paxtons or anyone else who is brave enough to perform. Olivia REALLY enjoyed dancing and running around to the music. We'll try to upload a video.Sunday morning Olivia hunted for eggs in Grandmommy and Grandpa's front yard. She enjoyed finding delicious treats in these eggs instead of paper confetti. It was a little more subdued than Saturday's hunt, but still lots of laughs.
Then she had one more egg hunt at our Easter lunch with Mimi, Nana and Janie. She was wise to the treats in the eggs this time and wasted no time getting into them. She also got some Easter coloring books and froggy sippy cup. What a terrific family weekend!!!
