Jump, jump, jump

That's pretty much all Olivia wants to do right now. She is crazy about the jumper. She will bounce as long as you let her and will even fall asleep doing it. Great parenting, I know.

Eating cereal

We started Olivia on brown rice cereal about two weeks ago. She seems to enjoy everything about it. She wants to hold the spoon and jab it into her mouth, nose, eyes, just about anywhere. Then she likes to stuff her face with the bib while the cereal is still in her mouth. While all of this is going on she's also jabbering to you. We'll probably start carrots this weekend. Wish us luck!

Putting up the Christmas tree

Look at what a big helper Olivia can be. She's checking the lights on the bottom of the tree while cooing a Christmas carol.

Look who's 4 months old

December 4th Olivia turned 4 months old. Time is flying by. She's now rolling over, kicking like crazy and grabbing her hands, toys and feet. Her head control is awesome and for some reason she loves tummy time. Next stop - crawling - yikes!

First Christmas outfit

Olivia's first Thanksgiving

Olivia spent her first Thanksgiving in Dallas meeting more of her family. Luckily, we made the FIVE hour trek along I35 (the highway of death) without too much trouble. Thursday morning, we got up and went with Mimi, Aunt Christie, Kate (Christie's friend) and Charlie, the dog, to the annual Turkey Trot. It's been a family tradition for many years and it was so exciting for Olivia to take part in the fun. This was her first time to meet Aunt Christie. They had a blast. Thankfully the weather was really nice, but she was bundled up, just in case.

After the Turkey Trot,
Nana came over and we
sat down for our first
Thanksgiving meal of
the day. We took a four
generation photo to
commemorate the event.

After Mimi's, we went over to Sue and Dan's new house for some delicious Thanksgiving pies. The Cowboy game was on and the kids were having a ball playing dressup. Everyone was in good spirits, including Olivia.

I actually went out and shopped on Black Friday. I needed some jeans to wear for the winter and of course nothing is fitting me yet so I braved the crowds at Firewheel. I'll never do it again, but I did get a couple of good deals and have jeans that fit for the foreseeable future. ;-)

Anna and Mia provided lots of entertainment for the rest of our weekend. Brady, Heather and Matt also came over to play. Olivia was thrilled because she gets such a kick out of looking at Brady's photo on our frig. She was beaming!

We got up early Sunday morning and headed back to Austin. Only took the normal three hours - whew! Can't wait to see all of you again over Christmas.
